Glazed Carrots
On the lighter side, here is a recipe for your finicky husbands
that think they don't like carrots.
16OZ can sliced carrots, ( I use fresh )
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp margarine
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
3/4 cup sugar

Drain carrots , measuring liquid, add water if needed to make one cup

Or measure the liquid you boiled the carrots in and add water to make one cup.

Blend cornstarch and liquid in a sausepan. Add margarine, salt, nutmeg, and sugar.

Bring to a boil and stir until thickened. Add carrots and heat.

* These carrots are so good that people who won't eat carrots ,will eat them !
