Have you ever thought about what it's going to be like when you get saved? Do you think all your troubles will be over? Do you think that the devil will never bother you? Well - think again. The saved life isn't a perfect life. The spiritual wars will still be there but you will have something inside to fight with - the Holy Spirit. You may still have some questions, but there will always be answers. Take the caterpillar and the butterfly for instance. God always reveals the spiritual in His nature. The caterpillar is a pretty helpless creature. Anyone could come along and step on it, or any child could grab it off of a tree and throw it around or smash it. It has no way of defending itself. It needs to become a new creature. When it becomes a butterfly, do you think all of its troubles are over? No - but at least it has the tools to defend itself with. It has wings to fly away. It's not very easy to catch a butterfly. God has given it a way to protect itself. He can more easily get away from his enemy. Now that he is a butterfly (a new creature), he can soar in the sunshine just as when we become new creatures, the Spirit helps us soar in the "Sonshine."
