Ahoy's there mate

what's all this debate?

Oh... You're concerned about your fate.

Well, let me try and relate

certain happenings on a particular date.

A discontented sinner pondered her state,

full of bitterness, strife and hate.

A longing for God, the Lord did create.

She wanted Him now, but had to wait;

diligently seeking was now a common trait.

She heard of God's way's, not crooked but straight.

Jesus is the way, He is the gate

I must enter in, and do not hesitate!

Her heart and mind, God did illuminate,

God's love and forgiveness, so very great;

and peace so vast no man can state.

Mercy and grace none could frustrate.

This love of God, is so very great!

So be of good courage dear friends of debate,

God's in control, He knows your fate.

In you a clean heart, He will create.

Forgiveness He brings, and love so great,

Now for you in Heaven, you have a date;

A grand celebration, so don't be late!
