I. The heavens and the earth and all contained within them were created by God - Genesis 1:1; Nehemiah 9:6; Psalm 121:2; Hebrews 3:4; Isaiah 45:18, 42:5; Revelation 10:6.

    A. Humans were created separate and distinguished from animals -                                     Genesis 1:21-27, 2:18-22, 9:6; Mark 10:6-7.

    B. The weather was created by God - Jeremiah 10:12-13; Job 38:25-29.

    C. Authorities were created by God - Colossians 1:16; Romans 13:1

II. The concept and design of creation was completely from the mind of God - Jeremiah 10:12; Proverbs 3:19; Psalm 104:24; 136:5.

III. God had a purpose in creation - Proverbs 16:4; Romans 1:20; Revelation 4:11.

IV. God made all things from nothing - Psalm 33:9; Job 26:27; Hebrews 11:3.

V. The three persons of the Godhead were involved in creation:

    A. The Father - Malachi 2:10; I Corinthians 8:6.

    B. The Son - John 1:1-4; 10; Hebrews 1:2.

    C. The Holy Spirit - Genesis 1:2; Job 26:13, 33:4.

VI. There was a time frame to creation of six literal days - Genesis 1:5; 31; Exodus 20:11, 31:17; Hebrews 4:4.
