JUSTIFICATION
Justification is the act of
declaring a sinner
righteous, while still in his unjust state.
I. It is the
acquittal of man's transgression
of God's law. - Acts 13:39; Romans 3:24.
A. Not through any works of
the flesh - Job 9:2, 25:4; Psalm 143:2, 130:3; Acts 13:39; Galatians
5:4;
Romans 3:20, 4:2; Revelation 6:17.
B. But by faith in Christ
Jesus and his redemptive work - Romans 3:24-28, 4:5,
5:1;
Acts 13:39; Galatians 2:16, 3:24
C. Which is given freely by
grace. - Romans 3:24.
